Counterbalance (Overcenter) Valves

Description

Counterbalance valves are used to control the motion of a load in the following ways: prevent a load from dropping in case of a hose or tube failure or from drifting caused by leakage in the directional control valve; provide smooth, modulated motion when the load is in a lowering or run-away mode or when the directional control valve is suddenly closed; provide thermal and over-pressure protection (providing the valves are used with a directional control vavle fitted with an A&B open to tank spool in neutral).

• Available in vented and non-vented versions
