Sleeve Series

The sleeve couplings consist of two steel hubs and an internally toothed polyamide sleeve. As they are easy to install and are maintenance free, this type of coupling is widely used in both the mechanical and hydraulic sectors. The rounded tooth contour permits a limited amount of radial, axial and angular misalignment.

To select the correct coupling, it is necessary to check that the maximum torques to be transmitted, in the different working conditions, do not exceed the maximum torque ratings of the polyamide sleeves. It is also important to check that the required bore of the hub does not exceed the maximum permissible bore for the size of hub.
